The concluding match for our 2007 Summer League took place today at Meadow View. We had a good late Summer's day with a light breeze, moderate 18°C (68°F) temperature and the odd glimpse of the sun.
That is probably the best part of the day, Meadow View fish in Linnet pool were definitely not playing the game.
Best weight today and match winner was Phil Clare with 24lb 10oz which was great for Phil, but as match weights go on this pool quite poor.
We had 20 members fish so we were able to leave the corner pegs out
however it appeared that the slight Southerly breeze was sending the fish North to the middle.
Golden Peg again keeps its curse, today afflicting James Bryan who had to suffer with a total weight of 12 Ounces.
